MUSCAT -- The Information Technology Authority of Oman (ITA) will hold two one-day digital technology workshops hosted by BSEEN International and Adobe Inc on February 3 and 4 at the Crowne Plaza Muscat.
Dr Salim Sultan Al Ruzaiqi, chief executive officer of Information Technology Authority, said: "These workshops are a part of the continuous efforts of the ITA's strategy to promote leading digital technologies to different target groups within Oman.
The workshops will help the participants, in government ministries and in the field of education, better appreciate many of the benefits that will be gained by the implementation of the ITA's Digital Oman initiatives."
On the first day of the event, attendees from various ministries will be shown how e-government initiatives are being implemented in various countries.
The presentation and demonstration will focus on how digital technologies can streamline communications, reduce the use of paper, save time and costs, protect privacy and authenticate communications.
The second day will be devoted to the education sector. Participants will learn how digital technologies can help faculty, teachers, and staff deliver engaging instructional experiences by the use of Adobe's award-winning electronic documents, forms, animation and online collaboration tools.
Participants will be shown how Adobe Enterprise Solutions revolutionise the way governments engage with ideas and information, transforming and extending government services to provide a richer, more productive, and trusted experience with their constituents and agency personnel, thereby increasing operational efficiencies.
