Al-Essa will hold a banquet Thursday evening in the honor of Sheikh Ahmad and Sheikha Hussah.
The banquet will be attended by Malaysian officials and Kuwait Embassy staff.
Sheikh Ahmad will meet during the visit with Malaysian officials to discuss cooperation between their countries and will give a speech at the exhibition's opening ceremony, which will be attended by Malaysian Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah and the Queen.
Meanwhile, Sheikha Hussa will give a lecture on the exhibition's collection on Saturday.
Speaking to KUNA, Ismail praised Kuwait's efforts in presenting the Islamic history and heritage to other communities through the tour of the exhibition.
He expressed great gratitude to Sheikha Hussa for her efforts in preserving the collection, stressing that it was not easy to preserve antiquities.
The Malaysian government encourages hosting such exhibitions and is glad to cooperate with Kuwaiti bodies, he emphasized.
He expressed gratitude to Kuwait for choosing Malaysia as one of the tour's destinations, saying he hopes that cultural cooperation between his country and the Gulf state would increase.
The roving exhibition, which will conclude here on December 30, was held in grand museums in London, New York, Cleveland, Madrid, Berlin, Paris, the Kremlin, St Petersburg, and most recently in Singapore.
DAI held a previous exhibition in the Malaysian Islamic arts Museum upon its inauguration in 1999.
