MUSCAT -- The third Indian GCC businessmen conference titled: Gulf and India Investment Opportunities will be held in Mumbai on Tuesday and lasts for two days. The Sultanate will take part in the conference by a government delegation headed by Maqbool bin Ali Sultan, Commerce and Industry Minister, Mohammed bin Yousef Shalwani, Sultanate's Ambassador to India; Dr Salim bin Nassir al Ismaili, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Omani Centre for Investment Promotion and Exports Development (OCIPED), Omani businessmen, officials at the private sector headed by Jameel bin Ali Sultan; Head of the Omani side in the joint Omani Indian businessmen Council.
The conference aims to discuss topics related to investment opportunities in the Gulf Cooperation Council states and India; co-operation in the field of energy and petrochemicals, explore investment opportunities, in infrastructure projects, and in real-estate. Six plenary will be held during the conference which would focus on investment in India and in the GCC states. Real-estate sector development opportunities, co-operation in the field of energy such as oil, gas and power, and in petrochemicals and exploring available investment opportunities in infrastructure field.
