DUBAI, May 20th, 2013 -- Dubai's Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) organised a lecture by Dr. Yousef Al Badr from Kuwait on "Arts and Educational Skills".

Aisha Al Kash, Head of the Education and Religious Guidance Department, stated that the lecture, which was organised and supervised by the Department of Religious Consultations and hosted at the Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein Cultural and Islamic Centre, aims to educate mothers in modern methods of education using the language of dialogue and the removal of barriers.

The lecture is also aimed at imparting proper guidance, and educating parents on their importance as role models to their children, to guide their behavior and seek to achieve the desired goals to foster a generation.

Yusra Al Qa?od, Head of the Department of Religious Consultations, addressed five main themes concerning recognition of modern methods of education, handling the causes affecting education of the individual, stages of education, and the role of society in education.

There was a question and answer session at the end of the lecture, which was attended by 113 ladies.
