Hormozgan province's governor Abdolsaheb Mohammadi met with the Omani Deputy Commerce and Industry Minister Ahmed Hassan Al-Dheeb in Muscat, Oman, on Tuesday.
Heading an economic, security and political delegation, Mohammadi is visiting Muscat.
Referring to the long-lasting political, cultural and historical relations between Hormozgan and Muscat, the Omani official said that the presence of the Hormozgan's managers in the fields of economy, politics and private sectors shows their interest in bolstering mutual relations.
Hormozgan's governor reiterated that Iran and Oman should deepen their cordial ties via coastal provinces, Hormozgan and Muscat as well as Musandam provinces in particular.
Explaining the potentials and capabilities of Hormozgan, Mohammadi said that both state and private sectors in the province are ready to cooperate with Omani sides in the fields of fishing, mining industries and also provide and export agricultural products.
Hormozgan province is located in southeastern Iran on the Persian Gulf Coast.
