MUSCAT -- The Sultanate's tourism development drive received yet another shot in the arm with the signing of an agreement for a luxury resort hotel in the scenic governorate of Musandam. Dr Rajha bint Abdulameer bin Ali, Minister of Tourism, inked the agreement with Abdul Alim bin Mustahail bin Naseeb Rakhyoot, promoter of World In, which will set up the property in partnership with Paolo Bolici of Italy.
Hayoot Beach Resort is a coastal resort comprising super deluxe accommodation in 159 exclusive cottages and villas located 3.5 east of the township of Khasab. Spread over an area of 2,154,25 square metres, the primary assets of the resort will be its rich marine and terrestrial environment, stunning archaeological sites, scenic exteriors, exclusive interior design and a comprehensive range of services, the promoters said in a statement.
The resort will complement the natural setting by creating high standards of luxury and style, the statement noted. Abdul Alim bin Mustahail bin Naseeb Rakhyoot, holding a senior position in the Royal Court Affairs, is the founder director of several prestigious companies. Paolo Bolici is the founder and chief of Bolici Group, a holding company with various subsidiaries, based in Italy.
Hayoot Beach Resort will serve top target groups and segments in the destination and leisure market, positioned as the reference in the GCC area. The suites and villas will feature a blend of Omani traditional style with modern amenities. The facilities at the resort will include pool and diving centre, spa and wellness centre, treatment villas, fitness club, thermal suites, choice of dining restaurants, modern entertainment and convention centre, boutiques and shops.
