SIDI BOUZID - As part of his electoral campaign in Sidi Bouzid, presidential candidate Hamma Hammami laid emphasis, Tuesday, on the imperative to defend the citizens' dignity and right to development and employment, the catalyst of the Revolution.

In a statement to the media, Hammami pointed out that nothing has changed since the Revolution.

Referring to the various visits he paid in several regions, he pointed out the persistence of marginalisation, the soaring prices of staple foods and the deterioration of social services.

"It is not what we have expected from a revolution carried out to defend freedom and dignity," he added.

If elected, Hammami asserted that he will take emergency measures to counter terrorism and crime, ensure the country's stability and impose respect of the Constitution, notably regarding right to development, education, employment and housing.

Hamma Hammami will tour the delegations of Souk Jedid, Menzel Bouzayene, Meknassi, Regab, Ouled Hafouz and Jelma to listen to the inhabitants' concerns.
