DUBAI: H. H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, in presence of H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy ruler of Dubai today inaugurated Etisalat?s stand at the opening of the 32nd edition of GITEX Technology Week 2012 which runs to October 18 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Sheikh Hamdan and Sheikh Maktoum were welcomed by Etisalat Group's Chief Executive Officer Ahmad Abdulkarim Julfar and CEO of Etisalat UAE Saleh Abdullah Al Abdooli. During their visit to the stand, Sheikh Hamdan and Sheikh Maktoum were shown the many advanced services that Etisalat offers individuals and businesses within the UAE community including eLife and 4G LTE technology. Their Highnesses were also briefed about Etisalat?s future technologies, including Folus and NFC, and new applications for the banking and finance, healthcare, education, retail, construction, oil and energy and government sectors. Ahmad Abdulkarim Julfar said: "Etisalat?s investments and creative technology is helping to shape a new era for the telecommunications sector.
