Doha - Local geotechnical and material testing company Gulf Laboratories WLL, have recently taken delivery of two new Hanjin geotechnical drilling rigs from Korea, a press releases issued by the company said yesterday.
The first two new units supplement the existing fleet of rigs and will enable additional resources to be assigned to ground investigation and drilling projects. Further drilling rigs are scheduled to arrive in Qatar later this year.
"We are very pleased with the performance of our new Hanjin rigs, and look forward to the arrival of the next units to support the growth in our business," said Andrew Slate, General Manager of Gulf Labs. "These track-mounted rigs are extremely versatile and their enhanced performance improves our productivity dramatically," continued Slate.
Gulf Laboratories WLL, a member of Mannai Corporation QSC, has been providing geotechnical, geological and material testing services to both international and local clients and consultants for over 30 years.
Their services include onshore and near shore ground investigations, laboratory testing services, geophysical and probehole surveys, in-situ and nuclear density testing as well as plate bearing and other tests. Gulf Laboratories is an ISO 9001:2000 certified company.
