KUWAIT: Under the patronage of Sheikh Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, the Governor of Ahmadi, the Gulf Bank inaugurated its new branch in Dahiyat Jaber Al-Ali yesterday. Dr Yousef A Al-Awadi, the chief general manager and chief executive officer of the bank, a few board members, bank executives, customers and residents of Dahiyat Jaber Al-Ali attended the opening ceremony.
Jaber Al-Ali, where the bank opened its 35th branch, combines old heritage along with the modern banking services and technology.
The bank is always keen on providing their customers with the best facilities where they can enjoy an elegant and comfortable banking atmosphere.
Al-Awadi said, "We are proud to announce the opening of the new branch which comes as part of our extensive expansion plan covering all areas in Kuwait". In keeping with the bank's tradition, the new branch offers a complete range of banking products and services answering all our customers' needs," he added.
"We are proud to be the winner of the 'Best Retail Bank in the Middle East' for the year 2005, and this was due to the bank's distinguished performance through its current strategy of extending and enhancing its retails services," he explained.
The bank has the great honour to be in leading private sector in supplying national labour forces, by raising the percentage of Kuwaiti employees in the bank to 52 per cent.
Jaber Al-Ali branch offers two ATM machines, two plasma screens displaying the foreign currency rates, an Internet service that allows the customers to access their personal account and complete a variety of banking transactions, plus new easy way to have cash money, which is the drive through ATM machine.
