Bahrain national carrier Gulf Air and Thai Airways International have added Singapore to the list of cities served by the existing codeshare agreement, effective from January 28.

Back in 2018, the Gulf Air/Thai Airways codeshare agreement extended the travel opportunities for Gulf Air passengers to fly beyond Bangkok on Thai Airways to Hong Kong, broadening the commercial partnership between the two airlines and their respective countries.

The codeshare will see Tokyo and Melbourne added to the list of cities in the coming months.

With the Thai codeshare, Gulf Air forecasts to attract more passengers from Europe and the Middle East to fly to Asia-Pacific and the Far East through the airline’s hub, Bahrain International Airport.
