MANAMA -- The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has set an example of regional cooperation for development and stability, said Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain Sheikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah here on Saturday.
This statement came during Sheikh Azzam's reception of GCC ambassadors in his residence in Bahrain.
He noted that the GCC was an integral part of the Middle East region, affirming that it provided a mechanism that showcased how a group of states could work to achieve a common goal.
The GCC would continue to work to achieve more development and prosperity for its citizens and living standards in the region, affirmed the Kuwaiti diplomat.
