A garage owner is Dh1 million better off after winning Abu Dhabi Duty Free's latest Be a Millionaire grand raffle draw.

He bought his winning ticket from Abu Dhabi Airport on his way to Jeddah. He is married with four children. His two daughters are both dentists, one son is an electronics engineer and his other son is a Grade 12 student at Al Nahda School.

When asked by officials at Abu Dhabi Duty Free (ADDF) whether he would be sharing his win, he said his wife certainly deserved half of it, as she always was supportive of him.

ADDF also announced the five winners of Dh100,000 each in the same draw. One of the winners is Filipino Calixto Cruz Roxas, a senior technician with Etisalat. Roxas, a father of two, bought his ticket from Abu Dhabi's City Terminal.

Indian Mavial Raja Krishnan, who works for a company in Sharjah, was the second winner of the Dh100,000 draw.

He has lived in the UAE for 26 years and also bought his lucky ticket from Abu Dhabi's City Terminal.

The third winner in the series was Ishwori Parasad Marasini from Nepal. He bought his ticket while flying to Kathmandu from Abu Dhabi Airport. The fourth winner was Indian Chathuar Suresh.
