LONDON: Britain plans to launch a large scale trial to use hydrogen for home heating, the government said on Tuesday in briefing documents laying out its legislative plans for the year.
Some 80% of British homes are currently heated using natural gas, which the government is seeking to reduce to help meet its climate target of net zero emissions by 2050.
