Dubai – Mubasher: Emaar Properties has finished the first phase of Dubai Creek Tower, the real estate developer’s spokesman told Al Bayan newspaper.

The UAE’s real estate firm is currently reviewing costs and contract terms to implement the second phase, the spokesman added.

The AED 3.67 billion Dubai Creek Tower is planned to be the world’s tallest tower with a height exceeding 1,000 metres.

The first phase involved pouring 50,000 cubic metres of concrete, weighing about 120,000 tonnes, and placing about 18,000 tonnes of steel reinforcement.
