Cairo –   Egypt’s Ministry of Transport and Cairo Ferry and Maritime Transport Company on Tuesday signed a contract for the management, operation, and maintenance of the Cairo and Riyadh ferries, according to State Information Service (SIS).

The deal came in line with transport ministry’s keenness on the development of the maritime transport sector, minister Kamel Al-Wazeer said.

Al-Wazeer stressed the importance of the periodic maintenance of Cairo and Riyadh ferries to ensure high safety standards.
