DUBAI (Zawya Dow Jones)--National Central Cooling Co., or Tabreed, said Thursday Waleed Al Mokarrab Al Muhairi was elected by its new board of directors as the company's chairman and Khaled Al Qubaisi was reappointed as managing director.
Earlier, the company's shareholders approved the appointment of the new board of directors, the company said in an emailed statement.
New board members Ahmed Yahia Al Idrissi and Khaled Saleh Al Rashedi join Al Muhairi, Al Qubaisi, Ibrahim Al Ansaari, Abdul Raouf Al Bitar and Ali Saeed Al Badi Al Dhaheri who retained their directorships, the company said.
The new board has been approved to represent the company for the next three years, Tabreed said.
Tabreed's shares closed up 4.4% at AED1.41 Wednesday in a slightly higher overall market.
