Dubai, 26th Nov. 2013 (WAM): The Protocol Department in Dubai celebrated the graduation of its ninth "International Protocol Manager Training (IPMT)" and its third "Advanced International Protocol Course (AIPC)." The courses were held in Abu Dhabi in a joint patronage with the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court. 50 participants from local and international government and private sectors received their graduation certificates after their successful completion of the five-day IPMT program and the four-day AIPC program that were conducted by the Protocol School of Washington .
The Protocol Department also celebrated its one-day "Fifth Protocol Graduate Workshop" prior to its AIPC course. Special guest speaker Mr. Bill Treasurer, Chief Encouragement Officer of Giant Leap Consulting, shared the concept and importance of Courageous Leadership with the graduates and provided them with techniques to enhance their courage both in their personal and professional lives. Mr. Ahmad Al Zaabi, Assistant Director General of Protocol Department Dubai, said, "Our continued support for these courses stem from our commitment to promote and enhance awareness about the fundamentals of the Protocol function and our focus on upgrading the role of Protocol in all services provided to VIPs and State guests. The continuous high demand for the courses confirms their importance and reflects an honorable image of the UAE society and the Arab countries which have become keen on improving and developing their services and on implementing methods of excellence in the areas of Protocol, Etiquette and Diplomacy."The 5-day IPMT course addressed important topics in the Protocol profession, whereas the 4-day AIPC course addressed core modules which help participants gain successful techniques and strategies on how to create excellent guest experiences and on how to become trusted advisors and influential leaders within their organizations. The IPMT training program was concluded with a graduation ceremony where Mr. Al Zaabi and Ms. Pamela Eyring, President and Director of the Protocol School of Washington, presented the graduates with their certificates.
