Abu Dhabi, Mar 31st, 2013 (WAM) -- A delegation from Dubai Municipality (DM), who visited Masdar, was briefed about Abu Dhabi?s renewable energy company?s mandate and projects.
The delegation toured Masdar City and visited the 10-megawatt solar photovoltaic plant that powers the city. They also visited Masdar Institute and were briefed about the buildings? management systems that help save around 50 percent of water and electricity compared to similar size building in Abu Dhabi. Discussions covered sustainability features and the green building materials used in Masdar City and how the Materials Recycling Centre works.
