DUBAI (Zawya Dow Jones)--The planned $95 billion Jumeirah Gardens project in Dubai's Satwa district is being "revisited" with some parts of the project to be delayed, Dubai's Gulf News reports Monday.

"The master plan (of Jumeirah Garden City) is being revisited and pockets of the development are delayed," the paper reports, citing a Meraas spokesperson.

Meeras Chief Executive Sina Al Kazim declined to comment about possibly delaying or reviewing the project when called by Zawya Dow Jones Sunday.

Meeras Development launched the mega-project at Cityscape in October. The project was due to be built over 12 years in an area north of Sheikh Zayed Road between Diyafa Street and Safa Park. It will include some of the cities tallest towers and several parks.
