Personlity Award of DIHQA Dubai, Oct. 18, 05 (WAM)--World renowned Islamic Scholar and Quranic veteran Dr. Abdul Rahman Abdul Aziz Al Sudais has been selected as the 9th Islamic Personality Awardof Dubai International Holy Quran Award. Said Dr. Saeed Hareb Vice Chairman of DIHQA in a press conference held on Tuesday at DIHQA Head Quarter.

He said that Dr. Sudais is known as the Imam of the Holy Makka since 22years and he is a very influenced personality in the Muslim communitythrough out the world, His famous recitation of Holy Qur'an taken by thepilgrims of Makka every year during the occasion of Haj.

Dr. Sudais is a very known personality with his simplicity, divinity andgood character and he from Anza Clave born in 1961 in Qusim Area of SaudiArabia.

Dr. Sudias has got his degree in Islamic Shariah from Riyad Universityin 1983 and been appointed as a lecturer in Islamic Fundamental Knowledgeof the same college, immediate after completing his study.

He has got his master degree in Islamic Fundamental from the College ofShariah of Imam Mohammed Bin Saud Islamic University in 1987 and he hasgot his PhD in Islamic Sharia from Ummul Qura University in 1995 whilehe was working in the same university as an associate professor afterhis service in Riyadh university.

World renowned scholars such as late Shaikh Abdul Aziz bin Baz, Dr. SalehFawzan were among his teachers.

Dr Sudais has got many publications on Islamic Shariea some of them have published ie, The Fundametalism in Islamic Sharia, the Usool Fiqh arethe famous and distributed thorough out the world.
