Dubai, Jan 19th, 2012 (WAM) -- Dubai Quality Group (DQG) has discussed its future strategic plan including themes, objectives, plans, programs and recent and important developments during its Annual General Meeting held at the Grand Hyatt Dubai.

During the meeting views and inputs from various public and professional figures were utilised to establish new strategies, which will be taken into account when developing the overall plan.

On the occasion Group's Chairman Saleh Janeeh gave a speech which was followed by a presentation on the financial report of the Group. Later, an EGM took place between shareholders, executives and other members of DQG. It addressed urgent matters and developments, such as corporate governance issues, as per the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Janeeh affirmed the goal of DQG to hold regular meetings between all concerned parties, in order to keep up with latest developments and assess and predict features of the future to work in the service of excellence and innovation.

He said the AGM showed the path to many professional features and trends, which would enhance the features of the future plans of DQG to initiate practical work mechanisms and benefit and rouse the interest of beneficiaries, members and investor partners. He pointed out that the dozens of ideas, initiatives, solutions and suggestions that were put forward by the officials and professionals would lead to the creation of high-level quality and an outstanding environment to enable the performance of DQG to carry out its functions optimally.

The Chairman of the Dubai Quality Group thanked the attendees, including public officials, partners, members and investors of the Group for showing their interest, concern and confidence. "I am fully confident in the possibility of teamwork that is based on team spirit, to reach beyond the stated or expected objectives, that would have a significant impact on the journey of success, excellence, innovation and development in general", he concluded.
