Yahya Group Holding, the company behind the Dolphin Village development, is to open its Dolphin Plaza shopping complex on Thursday at its Bausher compound - the first step in an expected larger development.
With work on the project beginning in July last year, the 588sq m plaza will include Snowhite dry-cleaners, Al Bustan Bakery, a Gelo Fredo ice cream parlour, Delfino Pizza, Best Burger and an O Mart convenience store.
Naseeb Yahya Nasib, managing director of Yahya Group, said that the Plaza will be the first step in a much larger development anticipated to come up in the Bausher area.
"Dolphin Village, which includes Dolphin Plaza, is only the first stage of the largest multi-use project in the Bausher area. Over the coming years we will add better services, extra housing, retail space, restaurants, hotels and more.
"Our vision and commitment will transform Bausher into a vibrant hub in the heart of Muscat."
Tony Ward, general manager of Yahya Real Estate, added that 'Dolphin Plaza' was designed with the customers and tenants in mind."
"We have shops that complement each other and will work together for the benefit of everyone," he added.
The demands of the tenants were taken into account during the construction of the complex, added Tajamal Jami, general manager of Yahya Construction.
