DOHA: Doha Bank unveiled the Infrastructure Advantage Fund NFO of UTI Mutual Fund recently at a function held at Asiana Restaurant Banquet Hall.
Fund Manager of UTI Mutual Fund Harsha Upadhyaya briefed about the overview of the mutual fund house and the ongoing NFO (Open November 12 to December 19), and expressed his happiness to have this tie-up with Doha Bank. During the launch of this product on Thursday, he said the fund will provide investors an opportunity to participate in the booming infrasttructure sector. He said that the investment objective is to seek long term capital appreciation by investing primarily in equity and equity-related instruments of companies in the domestic market that predominantly focus on or benefit from, directly or indirectly, the opportunities and developments in the infrastructure sector like Construction, Energy, Engineering, Metals, Power, Telecom, Transportation, Airports etc.
Executive Manager - International Banking of Doha Bank R Ganesan explained that Doha Bank provides all financial products like Bank Accounts back home in India, Trading and Brokerage Services, Demat Services, PIS and PMS Account, Mutual Fund Investments and Housing Loan to NRIs at IRC (International Relations Centre) of Doha Bank.
He also informed that NRI customers can invest in Mutual Fund from any branch of Doha Bank and also mentioned that Doha Bank is having NRI product champions in all of its branches specially catering to NRIs requirements.
