Dubai, Apr. 22, 2006 (WAM) -- An official delegation from theDubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) will leave here tomorrow, Sunday, for the Ghanaian capital, Accra, to participate in the"Made in UAE" trade fair, to be held at the Ghana International TradeFair Centre from April 24 to 26.
The DCCI delegation, which is being led by Ateeq Juma Naseeb,Director of DCCI's Business Development Department, include SultanMajid Lootah, Acting Director of Business Promotion Department and Jamil Al Shamsi, Exhibitions Supervisor.
Participants in the "Made in UAE" trade fair in Ghana includeforeign trade offices, the Department of External Affairs, export boardsof a number of economic institutions, government departments, trade andbusiness organisations and trade promotion agencies, in addition to CEOs,directors and other executive officials of private companies and ofvarious UAE economic sectors.
The exhibition has won the great attention of the Ghanaian government,which has provided all the necessary facilities to the exhibitors to ensurethe great success of the show. The Government of Ghana is also takingpart in the exhibition through its Economy and Commerce Ministry undera huge pavilion.
More than 50 companies are taking part in the show, which isthe DCCI's first trade show in the West African sub-region. The DCCI isusing the fair to explore new markets and boost non-oil trade exchangebetween Dubai and West African countries.
