Danat Dubai Cruises, considered the premier marine operator in the Gulf, has recorded a steady increase in passenger numbers over the last 12 months.
It has recorded a 45 per cent growth in tourists in January and February compared with the same period last year. Danat has catered to over 20,000 passengers from March last year to date.
Salah El Khayat, executive director of Danat, said: "Danat Dubai Cruises has seen demand grow over the last year and is gearing up for a continuous rise in passengers. With the political situation in the Middle East now stabilising, figures are showing that tourism is up and Dubai is experiencing an influx of executive travellers as well as package and independent tourists.
"Danat Dubai Cruises is continuing with the expansion of its fleet in order to cater for the demand it is seeing and is focusing this year on corporate hospitality within the local market".
Danat Dubai Cruises have been providing cruises in the Dubai Creek and along the UAE's coastline since 1999 and strictly adhere to international safety standards.
Due to its fleet expansion Danat offer scheduled cruises every day of the year and additional vessels for private charter 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Recently catering for the Prince and Princess of Belgium, and being used for special promotions by Radio 1 and Radio 2, Danat is proving to be a venue for exclusive events as well Dubai's number one cruise operator.
El Khayat said: "With construction happening all over Dubai it can be difficult for corporate clients to find appropriate venues which still offer first class service with an excellent view. Danat Dubai Cruises can always guarantee both of these things, as well as the added bonus of offering our clients true traditional hospitality."
Danat Dubai Cruises has been operating in Dubai since 1999, when its Australian-built 34-metre catamaran, MV Danat Dubai, sailed into Dubai. The fleet has since expanded to include two Arabic dhows and an ocean-going, high powered boat.
Danat offers traditional dhow cruises, evening dinner cruises, Gulf cruises, Sharjah cruises, afternoon sundowner cruises, full and half-day tours and group and private charters.
