To help companies and government departments make audit work paper free, Horwarth Mak Ghazali, a member firm of Crowe Horwath International USA, organised  a workshop on 'Audit Management System' at Crowne Plaza Muscat on Tuesday.

The company has introduced a new audit system in Oman that would help auditors reduce administration work and improve  audit efficiency.  The workshop addressed the concept of audit management system in-depth and provided an insight into how benefits are derived from automating the audit process.

Amarjeet Majumdar, partner at Horwath Mak Ghazali, said that the management system will help automate the audit process."The main objective is to create awareness about automating the audit process.

It reduces a lot of administrative work and eventually makes the office paperless. With the use of this system you can automate the entire audit process. This will help auditors get the time to carry out audit more fruitfully."

"This is the most integrated system which uses latest technology which is probably lacking with other systems," he added.
