Civil Gas Company has started to change the current serrated gas cylinder valve (horizontal) with a vertical self-closing valve powered by a safety valve to reduce the pressure inside the cylinder in order to avoid any possible damage.
The company introduced a new regulator to control the cylinder gas pressure and flow, following an official directive.
The same standardization determined the gas pressure with 30+ -- 5 ms bar with a gas flow of 1,500 gram an hour. The specification prohibited any change to the pressure inside the cylinder more than the allowed number.
The company received some complaints about the new regulator: "Its pressure is weak, and can't meet the demands" was among the complaints. So the company answered saying, the regulator is identical to the Saudi specifications of regulators and cooking stoves, and that the regulator is manufactured according to the modern techniques with easy installation and safe use."
The company added: "The regulator was highly checked and tested."
