KUWAIT: The Commercial Bank of Kuwait (CBK) expanded its network of branches to 50 after it opened a second branch in Jahra yesterday. The inauguration of the Naim branch in Jahra was held under the patronage of the Governor of Jahra Sheikh Mubarak Al-Hmouad Al-Sabah.

The opening of the branch is in line with the expansion policy that targets the largest segment of customers wherever they are, CBK said in a press release.
On hand for the occasion were Abdulmajeed Al-Shatti, CBK's chairman and managing director, Jamal Al-Mutawa, CBK's chief general manager and chief executive officer, Ali Al-Mudiheem, general manager, retail banking and Hamidi Al-Musalam, manager of the Naim branch. 

Talking on the occasion, Sheikh Mubarak Al-Hmouad Al-Sabah said that the inauguration of the new branch along with CBK's branch network expansion policy stands as a manifestation of Kuwait's strong economy. He went on to commend the high standard of Naim branch and the state-of-the-art banking and financial services constantly provided by CBK to meet all customer requirements.

Speaking at the inauguration of the branch Abdulmajeed Al-Shatti expressed his happiness by opening Naim branch noting that the friendly layout of the branch shall help in providing convenient banking services that will meet all the banking requirements of the residents in the area of Naim and other neighboring districts. He also explained that CBK's expansion policy confirms the bank's strong franchise and domestic presence.

Jamal Al-Mutawa commented that CBK's expansion policy targets to cover all residential areas in Kuwait and is an integral part of the bank's future strategy that aims at reinforcing its presence in all areas of Kuwait and ensure the provision of diverse banking services and products to its customers.

Ali Al-Mudaiheem stressed that Naim branch in the district of Jahra will offer diverse banking services to the customers. He also highlighted that the branch is equipped with sophisticated technical equipment to ensure simplicity and speed of services offered to customers, in addition to a specialized team of highly experienced and professional staff who will receive the customers in the morning hours from 8am to 1pm and in the evening hours from 5pm to 7pm.

The Naim branch provides customers with a wide range of banking services and products such as the Privilege Account, Najma Account, the Current Account, the Saving and Daily Saving Account, the Fixed Deposit Account in KD and Foreign Currency, the Salary Account, Tijari Star Account. The branch also offers funds remittance, personal loans, housing loans, consumer loans and the recently launched Kids Account "My First Account" and other banking, investment and financial services and products offered by CBK.
