MUSCAT: The Central Bank of Oman's (CBO) board of governors will hold its 156th meeting on December 18. It will be chaired by Dr Ali bin Mohammed bin Moosa, deputy chairman of CBO's board of governors.
The board will discuss various issues on the agenda, which includes the Central Bank of Oman's annual budget for 2012, CBO's Pension Fund annual budget for 2012 and Bank Deposits Insurance Scheme (BDIS) annual budget for 2012.
In addition, the board will deliberate on the report of CBO Pension Fund Actuarial valuation. It will also discuss the Central Bank of Oman's financial position as at the end of November 2011.
The board will also deliberate the recommendations included in the report of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank mission on Financial Sector Assessment Programme (FSAP) and will review the economic and Financial report upto end of September 2011, besides the activity report of CBO's departments during the period under review, and the financial and administrative matters of Central Bank of Oman'and banking sector in general.
