MUSCAT -- CADD Centre, Asia's largest training institute for Computer Aided Designing, has opened its 210th centre in Oman in partnership with Polyglot Institute, Oman, a pioneer in the field of vocational training within the Sultanate of Oman. The new entity will be called CADD Centre, Oman and will be the first training facility of its kind in Oman. "With the boom in civil engineering, manufacturing and petrochemicals, there is a huge demand in the Middle East and the UAE, for training on CAD & Project management products. Our training programmes are very successful in Bahrain and Doha. With an overwhelming response to our services and to cater to the growing needs of the industry, we have opened this new centre in Oman. CADD Centre, Oman will focus more on architectural, construction engineering and project management training to cover the immediate requirement in the industry." said Karaiadi Selvan, director, CADD Centre Training Services Pvt Ltd. CADD Centre and Polyglot Institute have chosen to work together to bring world class skills training on most popular CAD / CAE and PPM products to Oman. Polyglot will provide training on CAD /CAE and PPM products with CADD faculty, and will be the franchisee centre of CADD Centre, India offering courses designed for international centres.

"The CAD/CAE/PPM software are used widely by corporate and institutions in Oman. Technology is updated by the minute and this leads to quality training requirements. Institutions look to have quality training at an affordable cost. Having an international quality centre will be a great boon for the industries in Oman. Engineering and polytechnic colleges invest in the software in order to provide training on latest software to the students. They get to learn limited parts of the software during this course, which is not sufficient for them to work on practical problems. Hence they look for quality skills training. CADD Centre will come in very handy for them and it will be of great help," said Ali Said Al Arfi, director, Polyglot Institute.
