The European-managed Bengal Tiger Line (BTL) has launched a new service from Dubai to Karachi which will be extended to Nhava Sheva and Salalah.
Commencing from Dubai's Jebel Ali terminal yesterday, MV Colombo is expected to be joined a week later by MV Tiger Ocean - both geared feeder container ships.
The two vessels will ply a fixed-day weekly service linking Dubai to Karachi and Nhava Sheva returning via Salalah.
The routing allows multiple service between the two Middle East transhipment hubs and Pakistan/India's main gateway ports as well as interconnectivity in the growing Pakistan/ India trade.
BTL, the German-managed common feeder with a well established name in the Indian east and south coast corridors, has been expanding its coverage in recent months.
