Cairo (MER) - British Petroleum (BP) will pump $4 billion of new invests in Egypt's oil industry during the next five year, al-Alam al-Youm reported Thursday.
Speaking at the Euromoney conference in London, President of British Petroleum Egypt Hisham Mikawi said that there are big opportunities for more gas discoveries in BP's concessions in Egypt.
Mikawi said that the company is currently developing the Saqqara field in the Gulf of Suez with investments worth $230 million. [EW-FC]
