Sharjah The upcoming Chinese Commodities Fair Sharjah (CCFS) will be the milestone 10th edition of the show to be hosted by Expo Centre Sharjah. The show, a comprehensive and cost-effective showcase of Chinese products and technology, will be held from December 5 to 8. To celebrate the landmark edition, the show will turn into a “Chinese cities’ expo” — where the exhibition area will be divided into several zones, showcasing the culture, resources and business opportunities of 10 Chinese cities.

Dubai Dubai Exports, an agency of the Dubai Department of Economic Development (DED), led an Islamic Financial Services Trade Mission to Germany. Emirates holds graduation day

Dubai The Emirates Group Security Centre of Aviation and Security Studies and Edith Cowen University awarded diplomas to over 130 graduates yesterday, including 18 UAE nationals. During the graduation ceremony, held at the Emirates Group headquarters, Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates airline and Group, and Professor Kerry Cox, vice-chancellor of Edith Cowan University, presented diplomas to the students.

Jafza collaborates with Honda Gulf

Dubai Jafza extended support to Honda Gulf FZE’s tree plantation initiative held recently at the automotive company’s facilities in the free zone. About 500 saplings were planted as part of this initiative, which is one in a series of CSR activities planned by Honda this year.

FRiENDi secures $25m funding

Dubai FRiENDi Group has secured $25 million (Dh91.95 million) of new funding to further accelerate expansion plans across the Middle East, Africa and Asia region. The new funding consists of $10 million equity from new and existing shareholders, plus a $15 million structured debt facility from Standard Bank.
