President of Kurdistan Region , Massoud Barzani issued on Monday, orders to Peshmarga Kurdish troops not to raise any flag other than the flag of Kurdistan in the fights fronts against the terrorist Islamic State of Iraq and Syria "ISIS" organization
The order in which "Shafaq News" got a copy of it came in order to adhere to the principles of national constants , military custom and consolidate all moral and political capacities of citizens and Kurdish parties and increase support for Pechmarga forces in the confrontation fronts as Barzani has decided to prevent the forces involved in the fighting fronts to raise any other flag but Kurdistan flag.
He added that violators of this decision will be subjected to legal accountability.
It is worth mentioning that Kurdish Peshmarga forces in which most of its factions belong to the two main parties in Kurdistan region which are; Kurdistan Democratic party and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, which is currently fighting on a long front that extend from north regions of Mosul to Jalawla and Saadia areas northeastern Diyala of more than 1000 kilometers m according to Kurdish security sources.
Some Peshmarga elements have raised partisan flags that raised resentment in political and mass circles which criticized this situation that saw in it a fragmentation of Peshmarga efforts for the defense of the areas where ISIS organization present in them.
