Damascus - Minister of Higher Education Dr. Ghiath Barakat met on Wednesday members of the Iranian delegation from Tehran's Imam al-Khomeini Hospital headed by Rector of Tehran University Medical School Dr. Sayed Hassan Imam Radwa, and discussed with them cooperation in the field of exchanging scientific expertise and research and founding medical research centers.
Damascus - Minister of Higher Education Dr. Ghiath Barakat met on Wednesday members of the Iranian delegation from Tehran's Imam al-Khomeini Hospital headed by Rector of Tehran University Medical School Dr. Sayed Hassan Imam Radwa, and discussed with them cooperation in the field of exchanging scientific expertise and research and founding medical research centers.
Dr. Barakat affirmed the importance of coordination between Tehran University and Syrian universities in order to establishing advanced medical research centers, pointing out that there are 13 educational medical centers providing medical services in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, stressing the need for cooperation between these centers and their Iranian counterparts.
The delegation reviewed services provided by medical centers in Tehran University and the achieved progress in scientific research, expressing desire for developing cooperation with Syrian universities and research centers.
