BankMuscat's Meethaq Islamic Banking division is organising a lecture on work ethics on Monday at its head office from 5:30pm. Dr Abdullah Mubarak Al Abri, a scholar, will deliver the lecture.
BankMuscat's Islamic banking window, Meethaq, reaches out to customers by offering a full suite of banking products and services that comply with Sharia principles. The bank's Islamic banking operations is segregated from its conventional counterpart and led by its Sharia board, which consists of well-known Shariah scholars.
Sulaiman al Harthy, group general manager, Islamic banking, said, "Meethaq is one of pioneers of Islamic banking in Oman. Inspired by faith and a tradition of trust, Meethaq will help customers stay true to their values. In Islamic banking work ethics is of paramount importance."
BankMuscat has in the past, taken a number of important initiatives to enhance awareness around Islamic Banking.
This Lecture is part of the bank's series of Ramadan lectures. The invitation to the lecture is open to all.
