MUSCAT -- Enhancing the celebratory mood at Salalah Tourism Festival, BankMuscat, the leading financial services provider in the Sultanate, is organising an operetta today at 8 pm at the Municipality Recreation Centre. Shaikh Salem Aufait al Shanfari, Chairman of Dhofar Municipality, will preside at the celebration to be attended by dignitaries and guests, including AbdulRazak Ali Issa, Chief Executive of BankMuscat.

The operetta woven with folklore music and dance evocatively traces the spectacular transformation witnessed by the Sultanate under the reign of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, punctuated by the significant role played by BankMuscat in national development. Titled 'al Mazyona', the operetta also highlights the Bank's popular savings scheme, which has spread smiles across the Sultanate during the past 18 years. The high-value daily prize draw of al Mazyona savings scheme will also be held on the occasion.

Written by Ahmed Mohammed al Maashani and composed by Madian Ghalib al Shanfari, the operetta will be performed by artistes from the Omani Women's Association branch in Salalah. This is the second year that BankMuscat is organising an operetta as part of Salalah Tourism Festival. Salalah Tourism Festival, which celebrates the monsoon splendour and cultural heritage of Oman, is supported by BankMuscat as main sponsor.

BankMuscat stalls prominently adorn the festival venues, providing the required assistance for people to familiarise themselves with the various products and services offered by the Bank. The Bank has an array of tailor-made solutions to enrich life, complemented by the largest network of 121 branches and 341 ATMs, offering superior levels of banking convenience and connectivity.
