Ashrafs launched the latest range of cordless Gigaset phones of Siemens in Bahrain yesterday. Siemens home and office communication devices, one of the largest players in the global telecom industry, are introduced with its range of cordless 'Gigaset' phones in Bahrain.
The phones Gigaset SL550, E455, S445, C355, A140 Trio and A140 all have key characteristics of convenience of operation coupled with the latest design, functions and appearance; this was announced at a Press conference. Present were Amal Al Moayyed, Executive Director Ashrafs, Sameer Siddiqui, Director-Regional CoC MEA Siemens, Muthu Kumaran, General Manager- Electronics Ashrafs, Iqbal Ahtesham, Regional Sales Manager Middle East, Siemens and May El Husseiny, Marketing and PR Manager Siemens.
"The Siemens Gigaset phones are part of the Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunication (DECT) phones with many models being manufactured in Germany. The phones are embodied in their natural voice flow free of noise interference, clicking or fluctuations and undergo intense testing to meet German quality standards," said Siddiqui.
Amal Al Moayyed said that the new range of cordless Gigaset phones of Siemens have a monitoring system for home and offices. "This unique system is an ideal choice for mothers with babies and for offices security system. If there is an impact or noise in the room or area this phone is kept, it would automatically dial the preset number or other set of the cordless to alert in case of noise."
"The E450 for instance, is water and splash resistant and all models come with a regional warranty. The SL550, which is top of the range, is coupled with design and technology, melding modern cordless telephony with stylish elegance. Color display, polyphonic ringer melodies, SMS and much more - the SL-class cordless phones bring the convenience of a mobile phone to the living room, and are stylish as well. Telephone numbers, e-mail addresses and birthdays of friends and family fit into the built-in telephone directory and are always at hand. To synchronise data, the Gigaset can simply be attached to the PC. If loud ringing noises are inappropriate, these new cordless models will notify users of incoming calls by a gentle vibration."
Siddiqui said: "The phone is shock, dust and splash proof which makes it very attractive for families with children. The high quality hands free speech facility, with an optional headset, makes it convenient to use.
The illuminated keypad and the large colour display with self-explanatory menu make operation simple.
Another attractive feature is the distinguishable ring tones which can be set as per preference. In case one cannot answer the phone, or is away, the in-built answering machine can take up to 35 minutes of messages. Sending message is no longer restricted to your mobile phone with the Siemens Gigaset E455 one can SMS using the phone."
