Ahli United Bank (AUB) has launched a new loan offer for the salaried expatriates working in the country. The new loan offer provides the opportunity for expatriates to borrow up to 22 times their monthly salary, the highest loan amounts offered to expatriates in Bahrain so far, according to the bank.
As part of its introductory offer, Ahli United Bank is giving a 50 per cent discount on processing fees, choice to defer instalment payments for up to two months as well as special, low introductory interest rates.
"In line with our guiding philosophy and organisational commitment, we are constantly looking for ways to cater to the diverse customer base with products and services that are developed with customer needs in focus. After analysing the market we realised there was a need for a loan that caters to the expatriate community, who make up a significant portion of the workforce. Our commitment to exemplary customer service and a product line that fits the needs of customers, across the board, is something we take great pride in. This launch is yet another reflection of this belief and commitment" said Abdullah Al Raeesi, Deputy Group CEO, Ahli United Bank.
The bank offers expatriates the opportunity to consolidate their existing loans held at other banks into their newly-established Ahli United Bank Expatriate Loan.
Eligible expatriates can also obtain an Ahli United Bank credit card, free of fees for the first year, and can take advantage of a full range of additional banking services, including Auto Loans at competitive rates as well as enjoy the waiver of the minimum balance charge on their salary account.
