MANAMA: Amad Group managing director Pambavasan Nair called on Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel Humaidan to discuss the company’s plans that rely on national human competencies to develop its business in the kingdom.

Appreciating the company’s interest in expanding its investment in Bahrain, Mr Humaidan said that the government encourages foreign investment that generates jobs for citizens, facilitating all procedures as needed.

Specialising in supply of electrical, mechanical and telecommunication products, the Amad Group has four companies and around 150 people working in Bahrain and another four businesses employing around 250 people in Saudi Arabia.

The company is registered with most of the turnkey contractors, consultants and government departments in both the countries.
