Damascus - Dr. Robina Moisiu, First Lady and Daughter of Albanian President, on Saturday visited Zahrawi Maternity Hospital and the Mediterranean Drug Factory in Damascus as part of her current visit to Syria.
Dr. Moisiu, who is also Director of Tirana University Hospital Maternity and Pediatrics Care and briefed them on the services offered by her hospital to the public in Albania.
Head of the Reproduction Health Department at the Health Ministry Dr. Rim Dahman also briefed Dr. Moisiu on the services offered by the Ministry as well as the advancements in the field of health care and treatment in Syria and family planning.
Director of Zahrawi Hospital Dr. Ridwan Fayoumi talked about different aspects of scientific advancement at the Hospital and its services.
Dr. Moisiu was also briefed by Dr. Ramez Haddad, Director General of the Mediterranean Drug Factory on the work and production capacity of the company and the high-quality drugs exported to 13 Arab and foreign countries.
The First Lady and Daughter of Albanian President expressed great pleasure over the achievemenst in Syria in general, and in the field of health in particular, saying that development in the field of drug manufacturing paves the way for future cooperation in this field.
