Scotland,July 31st,20007 (WAM) -- Al Qudra Real Estate, a subsidiary of leading United Arab Emirates based Al Qudra Holding, today signed an agreement at St Andrews, Scotland, with Thomson Perret & Lobb (TPL) for the design of Golf Course at Ain Al Emarat, project in al Ain City. TPL is a multi discipline practice providing comprehensive golf development services for Golf Course Design, Architecture and Landscaping. This is the first Thomson Signature Golf Course in the Middle East.

The design contract was signed at a ceremony that coincided with the British Open at the famous St Andrews Golf Club in Scotland, UK. Mr Victor E.J. Orth Jr., CEO & General Manager, Al Qudra Real Estate, signed the agreement with Peter Thomson, Director of TPL and also a 5 time British Open winner.

TPL has joined forces with global architectural company, HOK, to create this championship level golf course in the oasis city of Al Ain. The 18-hole golf course will be part of a new community in the desert on the outskirts of Al Ain, the UAE's largest inland city.
