The cornerstone of the AMLS Distribution Centre has been engineered to meet the most challenging requirements of highly demanding partners and clients such as AKL. On the distribution centre design and operations, Sanjeeve ST, Senior Supply Chain Manager at AMLS explained that the new world class distribution centre is a unique land mark logistics project in Oman where it is designed and engineered using computer aided simulation techniques with global logistics engineering consultants to ensure excellent man-machine-method interface operations. Target is within the next 6-12 months AMLS would be seeking various international standards certificates and accreditation for the facility for its extraordinary cold chain management standards, he added.
