Izzat al-Duri, deputy of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, wanted by Iraqi Judiciary said that " he is good and in glory" and that non have got the glory that he is enjoying since the era of the first message.

Douri said in a statement, briefed by "Shafaq News" that "by God generosity, I'm fine and in a glory that no one enjoyed since the era of the first message, beloved Prophet Mohammed (PBUH)".

What draws attention in Douri's statement is the religious touch , he says, "thanks to God today I am at the top of jihad, I am an immigrant to Allah and God's Messenger... thanks to God, I will continue fighting for the sake of God, as I scarify my life for God ".

Douri who called himself titles as the Secretary-General of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, Secretary of the country , the Supreme Commander of Jihad , Liberation and National Salvation and finally the Commander in chief of the armed forces, said that " I fight with jihadists in the heart of the field, the thanks field then absolute surrender to God's will ".

"I seek and look forward to be honored by one of two goals, either victory or martyrdom for the sake of God," he added.

It is worth mentioning that Iraqi media, during the past two days, news of Izzat al-Douri being arrested in Salahuddin province, while other reports said that he was arrested in Nineveh province.

The Iraqi Ministry of Defense denied the news, saying only that it is working on to arrest him.

Douri is considered one of the most wanted by Iraqi government, accused of being behind most of the insurgency operations in Iraq.

The US forces in Iraq had allocated an amount of 10 million $ in 2003 to those who help in arresting, Izzat al-Douri.
