Dubai, Nov 19th, 2011 (WAM)--Al Baraha Hospital has organised a training seminar on dealing with diabetes patients on Saturday.
The seminar was attended by a number of consultants and specialists in the field of diabetes, as well as the nurses who are working in various health institutions. Ahmed Obaid Al Khudaim, Director of Al Baraha Hospital, emphasised that the seminar comes as part of the ministrys directives to develop the skills of technical staff and various medical specialisations. He added that six consultants, experts in the field of diabetes and 300 doctors, technicians and nurses attended the forum. It also highlighted all the latest techniques in the treatment of diabetes, health care for diabetes patients, the role of nurses with diabetes patients, nurses role with diabetes patients, diabetes in children, foot diabetes and the relation between type 2 diabetes and obesity. Al Baraha Hospital had organised several events on the world diabetes day as part of its efforts to implement the ministrys strategies in fighting and controlling diabetes.Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2011.
