Ajman Ruler receives Sheikh Mohammed Jebril

Ajman, Sep 01st, 2009 (WAM): HH Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, UAE Supreme Council member and ruler of Ajman received at his Al-Zaher Palace the renowned reciter of Holy Quran Sheikh Mohammed Jebril.

Crown Prince of Ajman HH Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi was present at the meeting.

Sheikh Mohammed Jebril is in Ajman at the invitation of the organising committee of the Ajman Ramadan programme to lead Tarawih prayers at the Sheikh Zayed mosque. His beautiful, punctuated recitation of Holy Quran in crystal clear pronunciation of the divine verses has captivated audience across the world.

After the Iftar banquet and Magrib prayer with Sheikh Jebril, the ruler toured a photographic exhibition depicting the architectural splendour of mosques through pictures.

The ruler hailed the presence of scholars who enliven the spirituality of Ramadan nights through lectures and melodious recitations of the Holy Quran at the mosques in the emirate.

Sheikh Jebril held in high esteem the attention and care of the Ajman government for building and managing mosques in the emirate.

A number of senior officials attended the meeting.
