Ajman, 2nd June 2009 (WAM) -- H. H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, attended today the launch of the new strategic plan for Ajman Free Zone Authority(AFZA) for 2010-2014.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuami, Chairman of AFZA, said the planwould constitute a qualitative addition to make the AFZA a real economic powerhouse underpinning the emirate's economy and that of the UAE as a whole. ''The AFZA has become one of the most local and international attractive economic destinations for investors, hosting over 4000 companies,''he added. ''The new strategic plan was inspired by a vision that seeks to create an attractive investment environment within a national sustainable economyand commitment to an economic development that adopts the international best practices, fosters national cadres and attracts more investors,''he explained.
