Sharjah, Aug. 31st, 2008 (WAM)--Air Arabia, the first and largest low-cost carrier (LCC) in the Middle East and North Africa, announced today that it will launch service to Nairobi, Kenya, beginning October 26, 2008. Flights will initially operate four times per week between Nairobi and Air Arabias hub in Sharjah.

The LCC will fly to Nairobi on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, departing Sharjah at 9:40AM and arriving at Nairobi at 13:50PM. Return flights will depart Nairobi at 14:35PM and arrive in Sharjah at 20:40PM. Nairobi will be Air Arabias first destination in Kenya, fourth in Africa and 42nd worldwide.

Nairobi is the political, financial and tourism capital of Kenya and is East Africas most populous city. The city is home to the Nairobi Stock Exchange, one of the largest in the world. Air Arabia will soon offer competitively priced flights to one of East Africas most prominent cities.
