Damascus, (SANA)_Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian reform, Ahmad al-Qadri stressed that the agricultural plan implementation percentage for the current year is ''good and reassuring'' as the wheat growing implementation percentage reached 74 per cent and barley 79 per cent.
The minister's comments came during a People's Assembly session held Thursday under the chairmanship of Deputy Speaker Fahmi Hassan.
Minister of Water Resources Bassam Hanna said the ministry is keen on ''every single drop of water on the borderline,'' adding that the ministry is currently working to fix irrigation canals in al-Sfeira area in Aleppo to which security and stability have been restored lately.
